Inspired by the imagery of Pennywise the clown, this rendition has a contemporary, minimalistic art direction similar to pop art that gives the jacket design a sleek and refined vibe.

The jacket focuses on the symbolic use of the colour red throughout Pennywise’s hair and nose which falls and becomes dripping blood. This effect gives the design a subtle menacing impression which complements the book’s horror genre. The corresponding singular red ballon balances the entire design providing a pleasing negative space that contrasts Pennywise’s front cover.
